My King’s first piano concerto is subtitled “Ode to Mozart”, which can be heard in the “Piano Concertos” section of this website. (Access it from the “Music” menu item, then “Own Works”.) When studying for the MusM (musicology) degree at Manchester University, UK, my specialist subject was the 18th century Classical style with emphasis on the life and music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. My final thesis was on the significance of the six piano concertos that Mozart composed in 1784. In this section I shall be presenting, among other pieces performed by me, the complete piano sonatas, recordings of which are now nearly completed.
