At this point you may be wondering what “Smart and Sweet Music” means. It means that music does not have to be over-simplified in order to appeal to a lot of people. Conversely, music that does not try give open-minded listeners pleasant melodies, harmonies, rhythmic patterns, and comprehensible structures (even if complex) is likely doing the whole of music a disservice..

On this platform, there is no advertising to interrupt your musical enjoyment, nor competing videos and banners cluttering the pages. Instead, you get a large quantity and surprising variety of high quality content that are presented to please and impress you. This is the new and most effective way that leading edge music artists and creators are able to communicate and offer their creations directly to their audience, and engage directly and more meaningfully with them.

First, I have put together a whole cast and crew that a large music and entertainment corporation would be proud of, except that they are virtual/digital, i.e. created inside my computer system:-). The central part of my music making “machinery” is of course me, single-handedly and almost uniquely combining the skills of a fully-fledged classical concert pianist-composer with that of a bona-fide professional popular music singer-songwriter, in addition to being a multimedia producer and publisher of music across both genres. Creating the digital crew and cast to support my own musical skills has enabled me to grow my creativity further.

Most musical artists’ output are in their audio recordings, live tours in venues, and fewer videos. By contrast, I am able to offer my audience a huge and extensively varied library of music performance videos, behind-the-music videos, explainer and tutorial videos, music scores, music-themed quizzes, puzzles, and self-designed merchandise, as well as my own growing network of independent linear music-tv channels, and hopefully a members’ forum on this platform. To create the huge library of audio recordings and music scores, on which the videos are based, I have had to add other important skills in addition to my piano playing, music arrangement and compositional techniques, for which I received extensive music conservatory and university education and training. These additional skills include the use of professional music production tools like DAWs (professional digital audio workstations like Cubase and FL Studio) and music notation software (like Sibelius). Over the years, I’ve also practised and developed my pop singing skills. With this array of music creation tools, I have easy access to instruments and effects to create music as a solo pianist or singer, or in combination with digital/virtual ensembles, bands, choirs, and orchestras, whether for classical music, popular music, or a fusion of both. Note, however, that I never use artificial intelligence to create music, I only use the digital tools I’ve mentioned. Do I use AI tools at all?

To make my videos impressive and exciting to watch I have created, with the help of image and video clips generating AI models, a whole cast of backing dancers (including ballerinas, jazz, disco, and street dancers). With my professional photo and video editing skills, I can feature these different virtual performers on my video screens, interpreting the music with me in ways that are very different from what has been done so far in the music and entertainment industry, and I am thus able to create single-handed what would normally require a huge human cast and crew.

So, join me on this platform as I also perform, produce, and guide you through my very own, sometimes rather personal, take on some of the world’s favourite classical piano repertoire, the ideas behind my own original classical compositions, my methods of creating popular music or fusion music compositions and arrangements, as well as my personal approaches to developing general musicianship knowledge and skills.

Max alpha king music features my own original classical compositions performed and produced by me, exclusively for you, my club members. Over 50 pieces of my music (piano solos, concertos, and chamber music) are already recorded and produced. My classical compositions are unusually (for modern classical music) packed with hummable melodic themes backed up by harmonies, accompaniments, rhythms, textures and structures ranging from simple to complex, but always coherent and fairly easily accessible.

A Word About the Header Video Performances Above

The first piece in the video, my Contemplation No.4 “Historical Monuments” was actually the first of the six contemplations to be composed. It reflects on the truths behind most historical monuments, especially the magnificent edifices, truths that can be very poignant or even harrowing to discover.

The second piece in the video is the first of Franz Liszt’s Six Consolations, which are among the world’s favourite short classical piano pieces, and all of which I have recorded and produced in audio and video formats.

I hope you agree that these video productions of my classical music performances go beyond merely capturing the piano performance in a concert setting. (I try to do the same with my popular music recordings). Of course, I have videos with just one static background, but even some of those tend to display images that reflect something about the composition and performance, whilst others just have beautiful landscape backgrounds or pleasant looking indoor settings.
