George Frederick Handel was one the first composers whose music I liked as a boy. This was partly because of my family’s liking for choral music, such as anthems and oratorios, of which Handel’s were among the best liked. I have composed a “Sarabande for Handel” which has a theme, eight variations and a short coda, which will be available elsewhere on this platform.
